The reason for blurred vision after wearing colored contact lenses

Common causes of blurred vision after wearing colored contact lenses include wearing them inside out or not cleaning protein deposits from the lenses in time.

❗️But what I never expected was that the pupil occlusion could also cause blurred vision!

👀In the design process of colored contact lens patterns, especially for mixed-race or iris designs, the goal is to achieve a realistic blending effect.

Sometimes the inner diameter of the pattern is designed to be smaller in the retinas,

making the mixed-race effect more realistic when worn.

⚠️However, the smaller the inner diameter, the more likely the pattern will block the pupil, causing blurred vision.

However, because everyone's pupil size is different,

not everyone is suitable for styles with a "small central refractive area".

Sometimes, a certain style might look fine on others,

but when I wear it, it obstructs my vision and makes it hard to see.

⚠️Please note that occlusion is not related to the lens diameter or the tinted diameter!! A 14.0 lens doesn't necessarily cause occlusion, nor does a 13.0 tinted lens; it depends on the specific pattern design! It only relates to the inner diameter of the pattern!

Currently, colored contact lenses don't specify the inner diameter of the pattern, so you can only refer to the effect shown in the upper eyelid image.
